Addanda Sunil Somaiah was born on February 18, 1973 and is the son of Addanda Sri Krishna Kariappa. He completed his primary and high school education at St. Antony’s, Ponnampet, and pursued his B.Com at Cauvery College, Gonikoppal.
With a passion for social service from a young age, he began his political journey as the Youth Congress President of Ponnampet and currently serves as the Zonal Congress President of Ponnampet. His leadership experience includes serving two terms as a Director at V.S.S.N Bank and dedicating ten years as a Grama Panchayat member. He continues to actively contribute to the community as a Director of Kodava Samaja, the Kodava Samaja Recreation Club, and the Town Co-operative Bank, Ponnampet.
